BUILDING LIFE @ LAKESHORE

Giving today to fund tomorrow!

It is with great excitement that the Long Range Planning Committee and the Finance Committee have launched a campagin to help fund recreational space for kids, preteens, and students. The new playground, fenced and adjacent to the gym, offers a secure and modern escape for kids and preteens. The pavilion, at 5,000 square feet and located on the site of the old playground, will serve as a covered space for basketball, pickball, and outdoor gatherings - benefitting not just the students but the whole church.

 

As a church body we approved this project June 1, 2025 with a total estimated cost of $390,000. We agreed to raise $120,000 by May 31, 2026 through members gifts. The remaining balance would be covered by existing funds on hand.

Budget Giving

God's word calls us to obediently "tithe" (give 10%) of what He gives us to do His kingdom work. "Offerings" given to God are gifts above and beyond our tithes.  Tithes and offerings are vital to the health of our church and provide for all the areas fo ministry and outerach.

 

Prayerfully consider:

2 Corinthians 9:7-8  "Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work."
